Visiting the Clinic During COVID-19
(Effective June 15, 2020)
The COVID-19 pandemic has changed so many of our typical routines, and as a result your next appointment will be different. Our priority is to keep you and your families safe and healthy, along with our staff and their families and are following the most current protocols put out by the Alberta Health Services.
We have made the following changes:
Removed many of the high touch surfaces and items including brochures. A clean chair will be made readily available to those who are uncomfortable standing however there will be little to no wait time as we do our absolute best to run right on schedule.
All surfaces people touch are disinfected with medical grade disinfectant between every client. Many surfaces and items are disinfected after each use including all treatment surfaces, equipment, pens and payment systems.
Additionally:
Our staff will be wearing masks, gloves and face shield
Our regular disinfection procedures for treatment surfaces and equipment remain essentially unchanged as we have always thoroughly sanitized these items with medical grade disinfectant between each and every use. Our thorough sanitizing procedures reduce the risk of any transfer of illness from an a-symptomatic or pre-symptomatic person to other individuals.
As part of our new processes, we are required to pre-screen individuals for symptoms of COVID-19 at the time of booking appointments, and upon their arrival to the clinic. Our staff is also required to pre-screen themselves for symptoms prior to arriving to work and upon arrival to work. People with symptoms of COVID-19 are recommended to self-isolate and contact 811, and are not able to attend the clinic for a period of 14 days or until symptoms resolve, whichever is longer. This includes clients and staff alike.
To help you prepare for your upcoming appointment please review the information below and complete the necessary forms where indicated. We are doing everything we can to ease you into the new routine and ensure you feel comfortable visiting Proskin Aesthetics.
* For the health of all clients and staff, anyone entering the clinic will be pre-screened at the entrance. Screening includes a symptoms check, temperature check, and exposure questions, before admittance into the treatment room.
* Masks are Mandatory within the clinic for clients and staff. If you do not have a mask to bring with you, one will be provided.
*Upon arrival, please wash or sanitize your hands immediately. We will take your temperature and reschedule or rearrange your appointment if you have a fever.
*Please attend your appointment alone, unless accompaniment is necessary (e.g. a parent or a legal guardian)
*Please arrive at your appointment time and not more than 5 minutes early– if you are early please wait in your vehicle or outside the clinic until your scheduled time.
*Please DO NOT visit if you are experiencing any of the COVID-19 symptoms, have been diagnosed with COVID-19 or have been in contact with someone who has been diagnosed or suspected of having COVID-19, or have traveled within the past 14 days.
